Love mini album

This is a chipboard album that I made in a class a few years ago. They supplied us with a lot of the papers, the book itself, and a lot of the elements. I haven't had a chance to put anything in it until recently. :)

Everything on the front was supplied by the class including the papers, the decoupage, the letters, and the heart. I crinkled and inked myself and put everything together and glued the letters and decoupaged the paper onto the book. I don't remember how I tied that string through the 3 holes though : /

Around the inside paper heart are little brass brads, and it is inside a heart shape depression in the chipboard painted red.

This is the book standing up. It measures 6x6in.

On the back of the little dangle heart I drew the middle of mine and my boyfriend's matching tattoos. It is an N and an M in the shape of a heart on the back of our necks for his name and mine.

The inside cover is on the left and the right is page 1. The heart is what the front heart is torn out of, with a brad at the top. The polka dot paper was supplied and the red paper is from DCWV matstacks and the ovals are cut out with Making Memories oval cutters. I inked around the edges with black ink.

"What I love about you" is a sticker from EK success sticko stickers called "my true love."

Page 2 paper is "wooden this be nice" by over the moon press for EK success. It started as a 12x12 but I cut pieces out and used them throughout the book. "kiss" is a sticker from DCWV quote sticker stack "love" and rhinestones from stash. The lips is a stamp.

Page 3 photo mat is from DCWV immortal love matstack. "Sweetheart" on the bottom is a stamp by studio112 and the strip at the top is a sticker.

Lips stamp by Recollections in ColorBox "merlot" ink. I then tapped black over the whole image and inked the edges. Then put it on a pop dot.

Sticker strip is Recollections dimensional stickers. I cute the size I wanted and left the rest of the 12in piece on the backing.

Page 4 papers were supplied. "my love" from Micheals, I can't remember the brand.

Page 5 strips of paper are from the same paper as page 2. Ribbon bow is premade by Me&My big ideas Soft Spoken embellishments "love". The "you and me" is a stamp.

Little hearts are punched out and inked then trimmed to fit on the page. I love the way they look on the side of the paper like this. :)

"You and me" stamp by studio112 clear mini stamps in black ink.

Page 6 and 7 papers are from DCWV immortal matstack. "Love" is from same pack that the premade ribbon is from and the ribbon holding the charm is from Micheals.

"Crazy for you," charm with little rose is from Making Memories "Love Amour" embossed charms.
[[love these!]]

Page 8 papers were all supplied except photo mats. The photo on the right I traced with a razor blade and popped up on pop dots for dimension. (That is the tattoo between his shoulder blades) In the bottom right corner "There is just something about you" sticker is is from the same pack as the sticker on page 1.

Inside back cover paper was supplied. "love" is from same paper from page 2. The heart tag and envelope are from Tag Alongs, Petals and possibilities, the little flower and petals are real pressed flowers, all premade.

I wrote on the tag, "April 26, 2009. A day I will never forget. You asked for my heart, and I don't ever want it back. I love you!" in white gel pen and faux stitched around the entire edge.

I hope you like it! :)

Under the Sea

So, I haven't made any new projects lately becuase I have been really slammed with homework and my daughter. But I found this little clear box and I have been wanting to make something with underwater creatures so I decided to play around :)

All the cuts are from create-a-critter and the bow is from ribbon stash from michaels. I also used stickles in "star dust" for the fishes fins, the jellyfishes bow, and the seahorses fins.

This was a very fun project! Hope you like it, look forward to many more cards and projects since my 2 year anniversary is coming up!

We are currently long distance so I want to send him some cards :) and make a book for our anniversary :)

EDIT: today i filled the box with sand and seashells i bought at micheal's to complete the under the sea feel :)
