Lasting Memories Challenge ~~ Trash your LOs!

This week over at Lasting Memories our challenge is to trash your layouts! Normally that would be a bad thing! But we want to see you use trash on your pages; Scraps, something you could recycle, or something you dug out of the garbage ;)

My layout is made up of completely all scraps, except the background paper, ribbon, and metal accent.
Here is my layout:
This is a picture of Kenzie when she was 2 weeks old and her 28 week 3d uldrasound. Just proves how accurate those machines are! And FYI that's what I'm majoring in ;)

All of my papers used came straight from my scrap bin and I recut and reused them.. I really like getting rid of my scraps :) The butterfly border is the negative strip from cutting the butterflies out of it, Great way to recycle!! :)

I found this ribbon in sooo many colors at a warehouse down in San Diego. Miss that warehouse..

Metal accent is Recollections, little stamps are recollections too

I used my new favorite embossing enamel on this doily, and I LOVE IT!! Oh it's so pretty in person! This little guy I cut out of scrap paper that had his picture all over it.

Here you can start to see the tiny bits of pink and white and gold flecks.. Oh I wish you could see it in person..

Did I mention I love this embossing enamel?? So pretty!!!!

Close up of my recycling and doodling

I used enamel accents for the dots on my butterflies and glued down only the middles so they could pop up and fly away ;)

Challenges:

Please come and play along with us at Lasting Memories!!

You have 1 week to enter and we have an awesome prize this week by our very own Elizabeth, from A2Z Scrapbooking!

Very pretty layout. Reusing scraps and other items just laying around is really a challenge. Plus its hard to stay away from using something pretty and new. :)

Love that you used the butterflies and the punched piece. That is a great idea. I also love the ribbon.
Now what is embossing enamel? I know what embossing powder is. I really like what you did to doily so would love to know.

okay... so my absolute favorite is the negative trip of punched out butterflies. Beautiful layout! And I am jealous that you are probably 1/2 of my age and you are majoring in ultrasound tech. Something I sooo wanted to do. Just didn't fit into my life's happenings. Good luck to you! I have a feeling you will be awesome at it!! :-)

Wonderful LO, Michelle!! I'm usually not a fan of those 3D ultrasound pictures, but I really like how you've paired it with a "real" picture too -- It makes it look much softer to me!! :) My friends always laugh at me when I line up my punches, but I see you and I both enjoy the "negative" border that it makes!! :)

Thanks so much for sharing your talent at Lasting Memories this week!! :)
