My friend Amanda from high school is marrying her marine this year and I wanted to make her a card before I missed her bridal shower, since I moved 8 hours away :(
I took this idea from a combination of tutorials on the wedding hearts and I couldn't be more pleased with how cute they came out!! The paper is embossed with love and other words including adore that I got a long time ago at a LSS.
I cut out a peach heart and a white heart from the CAC cartridge then I embossed the bride with swiss dots and and inked the edges with silver as well as spritzed with silver ink.. then I added rhinestones for her necklace and pearls for her dress and popped up the middle part and glued the edges.
For the groom I cut out the same hearts in a white and black then made a slit and folded down the top for his lapels then snipped a little triangle is each one and inked with white as well as spritzing with silver. I tied a simple knot in the top of the ribbon and zotted it on. Finally I added little black rhinestones for his buttons and popped up just his chest and glued the edges together.
"Mr. & Mrs." is cut from the sweethearts cartridge with the shadow feature and I added rhinestones for the dots.
For the inside I cut out the wedding ring cut also from sweethearts and the 2 little hearts that were cut outs from the mr. and mrs. cut.
I added stickles to the diamond and silver ink to the rings.
I was so excited to get her this card and she told me how much she loved it!! I will definitely use these little wedding hearts somewhere else they are just toooooo adorable to use once!
****update!!*** Sure enough I used these again! I made the same card for my cousins bachelorette party! She loved it!
