I'm a little late posting, the challenge went live this morning but..
Welcome to another Lasting Memories Challenge!
This week our challenge is "Hopping into Spring!" Show us those Easter/Spring time layouts.
Our very own is Jenassa is giving away a $15 gift card to either Michaels or Joanns to the winner of this weeks challenge so get those Spring time layouts linked up by next Saturday for your chance to win :)
As usual we have an OPTIONAL sketch for some added inspiration if you choose to use it, and this week I did! Here is the sketch:
And here is my layout for the challenge:
My photo is from a couple days after Easter this year when it was sprinkling outside and I still couldn't get Kenzie to come inside for ANYTHING! This kid would sleep outside if I let her.. LOL
I threw some eggs out for her to "hunt" and she stopped at every one and had to open them up and close them over and over again. She is still a little too young to get the concept of finding all the eggs and putting them all in your basket lol but it made for some ADORABLE photos that double as rainy day photos. We had a little mini photo shoot and we were out there for a couple hours.. She definitely didn't mind, like I said as long as she's outside she's game for anything! Haha :)
My background paper is from the new DCWV Spring Fling stack, it has so many pretty florals in it, they are gorgeous!
I used my Recollections edge punch and some purple ribbon for my accents and then topped it off with some buttons and a twine bow
My butterflies are from Recollections Signature collection
My title is an Imaginisce rub on with rhinestones, so cute!
I fussy cut the flowers a little bit to put the picture behind them for more depth and dimension, I did have to trim some leaves off though that went a little too high on the picture..
I really hope you will join us at Lasting Memories and share your springtime layouts with us!
Happy Scrapping!
Challenges I'm entering this layout into:

What a great photo! How fun for your little girl to have her very own Egg Hunt in the rain!! My youngest loves being outside too, but mostly to dig in the dirt!

Wish my children would go out in the rain. Super cute layout
Unfortunately blogger is having attitude issues again and I can't see your pics, but I loved the story. Scott was more interested in the single egg too at that age. No one could accuse him of being greedy! LOL
Oh, what a sweet story. She's adorable, Michelle. I can see everything just fine. Love your page this week!!
